An atypical Christmas campaign , in which investment suffers, in which the usual messages do not work , where there is no room for unbridled optimism or good wishes, where the "we will come out stronger" is exhausted: this is Martiko's bet for these Christmas. In a difficult environment, the Navarrese brand Martiko remembers the importance of knowing where we come from, the strength of stories , of essences, of sharing, of the pride of belonging. Named “Somos Martiko”, the Christmas spot is a tour of the valleys , rivers and mountains of Navarre where they were born and grew up, the places to which they belong and of which they feel proud: the Cinco Villas, El Bidasoa River, and the magical Baztán. A powerful campaign focused on an audiovisual directed by Telmo Esnal, author of Dantza, Akelarre, etc.
Films full of essences, land and roots, Goya by Aupa Etxebeste and Greenpeace Lurra Award at the last San Sebastián Film Festival , with a team in which the art direction of Mikel Serrano ( Advantages of traveling by train , The infinite Phone Number List trench , The Ministry of Time , Loreak and Goya Award for Handia ) and the photography is by Charli Arguiñano, who knows every corner so well from her work on the Baztán Trilogy . Martiko is a family business that has a clear mission in its DNA: respect for tradition, for those who came before and for those who will come after. For the land that saw them born and that they will leave to their children. Because of the way of doing things, the craftsmanship and the way that incorporates the latest in technology. Respect for the animals they raise and, above all, respect for their clients, from the most renowned chefs to the thousands of homes that trust them.
Hence this very special Christmas campaign. His origins? A journey of which the small town of Bera is a witness . Gate of the magical Baztán, retreat of the Baroja family, an enclave of the old Kingdom of Navarra that extended on both sides of the Pyrenees, through which corn from America would pass on its way to Bayonne and which would one day be a key part of the duck industry. In 1992 the company decided to follow the course of the Bidasoa, the barely 15 kilometers that separate it from its mouth. And from the Cantabrian Sea to the North, embarking on the production of smoked fish. "Thousands of kilometers of an open route based on a combination of work and innovation that has ensured that today we have the facilities, infrastructure and personnel necessary to be able to make a unique and excellent quality product available to the consumer," points out the company.
